There is so much content these days. News, books, movies, shows, music, articles, games, enough for many lifetimes over. It is a sea of content that makes me wonder if there is meaning in creating my own. When there is so much of something, is it meaningful for there to be a bit more?
If the new thing is sufficiently different then its rarity could make it meaningful. In people's effort to create something meaningful, they might try to make something crazy just to make it stand out. But that's not the type of meaning I am looking for.
Content is meant to be consumed by someone, and it doesn't make sense to program a game just for myself (unless it is a sufficiently random experience, such as Wordle). Wordle is more of an experience that changes every time, almost like a utility. Creating tools for myself has been meaningful.
When I die, my spirit will rise out of my body.
My spirit contains my consciousness (awareness of surroundings) and memories. It is imperceptible to the living, and perceptible to any dead entity or entities that I choose. For example, in one moment I (my spirit) can choose to be visible and audible to my dead mother. In another moment, I can choose to include my dead grandmother, and in the next moment I can become imperceptible to both of them but perceptible to my wife's grandfather.
I can control my spirit's appearance. For example, I can choose for my spirit to appear as a simple ghost shape, the shape of my physical body, or anything or anyone else. However, there is no way to conceal your identity as a spirit. Another spirit will always know who you are, regardless of what your spirit looks like.
If I chose, my spirit can see the universe of the living. I can see what people are doing and I can instantly travel to any point in space, but not to any point in time. The passage of time is the same in the living and dead universes.
If I really want to, I can make an impact on the universe of the living from the universe of the dead.
I can also fly in outer space if I choose.
